One of the best fine dining experiences in Toronto. Scaramouche delivers everything you expect from a high-end restaurant — elegant atmosphere, flawless service, and beautifully prepared dishes. The view of the downtown skyline makes the experience even more special, especially at night. The food is consistently excellent, with standout dishes that are perfectly balanced and refined. The service is professional, attentive, and makes you feel comfortable from start to finish. This is the kind of place you go for special occasions, and it never disappoints. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a true luxury dining experience in Toronto.
This restaurant is a true hidden gem. As you arrive, there’s little signage to indicate what awaits inside, but the friendly valet staff out front provide an immediate warm welcome. Complimentary valet parking is a thoughtful touch that sets the tone for the evening. The entrance is through an unassuming apartment building, but once you descend the staircase, you’re transported into a refined and luxurious dining experience. The décor and ambiance are exceptional. The atmosphere is sophisticated and elegantly understated. While the dining room can become a bit noisy when the restaurant is busy, it still maintains a warm, lively, and pleasant atmosphere. We were seated near the main window, which offered beautiful views of the city skyline and the surrounding parkland. We began with the sourdough bread and hummus. The bread arrived warm, fresh, and delicious, while the hummus was equally fresh and full of flavor. We also shared a wonderful Romaine heart salad, perfectly complemented by its cheese, egg, and flavorful dressing. For our entrées, I chose the chicken dish and truffle fries, and my wife enjoyed the peppercorn pasta. Both were outstanding, beautifully prepared, full of flavor, and generously portioned. To finish the evening, we shared their famous coconut cream pie, accompanied by freshly brewed coffee. It was the perfect ending to an excellent meal. Our server, Donald, was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable, and the same could be said of the entire staff. From the impeccable service to the outstanding cuisine and elegant surroundings, this was a memorable dining experience that we won’t soon forget.
We really enjoyed our experience at Scaramouche Restaurant. The food was outstanding and the service was excellent throughout the evening. The foie gras was incredible, and the PEI oysters were exceptionally fresh. Both the halibut and duck were cooked perfectly, and the parmesan fries were a great addition to the meal. For dessert, the coconut cream pie is an absolute must-try. I would highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be returning.
Amazing vibe from the moment we walked in—perfect spot for a special night out. The food was absolutely delicious and incredibly fresh; we genuinely loved everything we ordered. The filet mignon was bursting with flavor and perfectly tender, while the short rib was true melt-in-your-mouth goodness. The Quebec duck breast was also beautifully cooked and very tasty. For dessert, our server Leoni recommended the coconut cream pie—and wow, it did not disappoint! The banana pudding was just as delicious, and the parmesan fries were the perfect savory addition. A special shoutout to Leoni, our server, who was amazing throughout the night—attentive, friendly, and made the experience even better. Also, thank you to Harry for the warm hospitality as we celebrated my son’s birthday. It truly made the evening extra special. Highly recommended—can’t wait to go back.
