4.4 is far too low for this establishment. It was exceptional. Fresh, simple but really tasty. The grilled octopus for me is one of the best in the city. Get the lobster pasta too! Really go crazy with it! It’s worth it.
Estiatorio Milos delivers exactly what fine dining should be. From the moment you walk through the doors, it's clear this is a step above the countless restaurants that offer the typical pub atmosphere of burgers and beer. The ambiance is elegant, sophisticated, and welcoming, with attentive staff ready to greet you the moment you arrive. The food was exceptional. The octopus was perfectly cooked—tender, flavorful, and not chewy in the slightest. The grilled fish is a must-try for seafood lovers, prepared simply and expertly to let the quality shine. The lobster pasta was outstanding and truly in a league of its own. What impressed me most was the service. The staff were professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly attentive without being intrusive. It felt like they were always one step ahead, anticipating every need and ensuring a flawless dining experience. This was one of the best dining experiences I've had in downtown Toronto and was worth every penny. If you're looking for an upscale restaurant with exceptional food, impeccable service, and a refined atmosphere, Estiatorio Milos should be at the top of your list.
Venue 4.5/5 Milos is located right in the financial district (corner of Bay and Adelaide). Clean, upscale space that sits somewhere between corporate and high-end dining without feeling stiff. The open fish market adds to the experience, and the drink selection is solid. Parking isn’t the easiest (expect nearby office garages) but if you’re there for a weekday dinner, they offer complimentary valet at the St. Regis, which helps. Service 5/5 Top tier. Staff are polished, attentive, and actually know the menu. Recommendations were on point, and everything felt seamless without being overbearing. It’s the details that make it stand out, the attention to detail and the care when serving and presenting the food. Food 4.5/5 Went with the lunch menu (great value with an appetizer and main). Quality is consistent with what you’d expect from Milos: fresh, simple, and done properly. They’re also mindful of time; if you mention you’re on a tight schedule, they can accommodate a one-hour lunch without making it feel rushed. Had the salmon along with salmon tartare and the octopus. Good variety for the prix fixe lunch menu too.
Excellent food and service. Fresh fish cooked to perfection. Went for the A La Carte rather than the Price Fixed 4 course menu. It is pricey but then again it was worth it, I won't be able to drop that kind of $$$ unless it's a special occasion, and will go for the price fixed Sunday dinner next time. When you enter you get the strong odour of fish, that may put you off if you are not used to it but remember it's fresh fish. Once you get past that you will enjoy the meal for sure. Would I go again definitely. Tom was our main server ( he had an assistant who was excellent as well, didn't get his name ) was our server ( thank you guys )and did an excellent job of explaining the menu and taking us to the fish market to explain the different types of fish . We had the Empradorr, OMG that was delicious. As the fish is market price and by weight you most probably could ask them to weigh it and ask how much it would cost if you are on a budget but like to eat well. My family and I had absolutely fantastic experience at Milos this Sunday. This restaurant with the level of hospitality, food and service deserves only 5 stars. Cold and hot appetizers were delicious. Main course was also absolutely amazing. I tried pasta and lamb chops. The dessert - carrot cake was a chefs kiss! It’s now one of my favourite places in TO. Our server Ramin was super attentive, knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. We were very impressed with the level of the service.
