During my trip to the Niagara region from Kentucky, I discovered a remarkable cidery that truly stands out. Ironwood had exceptional service and a charming atmosphere that made for a delightful experience, and I can confidently say this place is a hidden gem. I look forward to returning on my next visit to the area.
I've been intermittently coming here for years, exclusively trying all the Cider. Last time I came they only had their regular shelf stock so I was eagerly waiting for some artisanal / small batch releases. Visited today and I must say how blown away I was with the quality and attention to detail! All these new Ciders (seasonal, artisanal and otherwise) were absolutely incredible... Such refined precision in executing these flavours and pulling off world class Ciders. I always thought Ironwood was as good as the rest and now they definitely belong on the pedestal with Grey and Gold, Revel, and the great Quebec Cideries. Well done!!
We chose this place as a wedding venue and oh boy, we did not regret it! First, I want to say how easy and fast was communication with Devon and Shannon - they were so accommodating and helped me with all the questions that I had and guided me through wedding planning process. I’d like to emphasize that Ironwood does a package for your wedding that in our case included all the set up(chairs, tables and linens colours of which we could pick), catering company and officiant services(they work with Cathy Davis and company). I’ve read some unsatisfactory comments about catering company Festivities - it was NOT our case. Honestly the food that was at the wedding was superior(turned out even better than the tasting) - come on, 10 hour braised short rib stole hearts of many guests. It’s not your basic stake. I am very grateful to Shannon for helping me to set up all the decor. Every bride has a vision, but she decorated venue even better than I imagined! That’s the real professional in action.
*Wedding Review* - We celebrated our wedding ceremony and reception at Ironwood Cider House in September 2025, and from the moment we walked through the doors, we knew it was the perfect venue for us. Shannon, Roxanne, and the entire Ironwood team made both the planning process and the day itself effortless. They were incredibly organized, responsive, and patient with our many questions and special requests. We truly felt we received exceptional value for the experience. Even months later, our guests continue to rave about the food, the atmosphere, and the overall vibe of the venue - especially the cider. We couldn’t recommend Ironwood Cider House more highly!
*Wedding Review* We had an incredible experience with Ironwood as our venue and can’t recommend it highly enough! The venue itself is gorgeous. It's the perfect mix of indoor/outdoor. It gives you a winery feel, but isn't too pretentious. We didn't feel like just a number, but rather valued guests. The building is gorgeous and the peach orchard is the perfect ceremony spot. Everything looked amazing in photos. From the beginning, the staff went above and beyond to make everything smooth and stress-free. They were consistently responsive, flexible, and genuinely helpful, which made the planning process so much easier. We really appreciated them giving us flexibility with drink packages, drop off and pick up of items, etc. A special shoutout to Shannon, the event coordinator, who was absolutely amazing!!! She was organized, calm, and on top of every detail! It truly felt like she cared about making our day perfect. She really brought our vision to life. On the night of the wedding, the service was outstanding. The team was attentive and professional, and everything ran beautifully. And of course, the ciders are delicious! People loved them! We chose Treadwell for our food, which worked seamlessly and was a huge hit. If you’re looking for a beautiful space with a team that genuinely delivers, this is the place.
