Great old-style British pub with a fantastic beer selection and a welcoming atmosphere. We stopped by during the Champions League Final and, despite the place being completely packed, the service was still friendly and surprisingly fast. We had the fish and chips and the burger, and both were very good. The menu was excellent overall, although it was missing a few classic pub snack options. The beer selection definitely made up for it. A great spot to watch sports, enjoy a pint, and have some quality pub food. We’d happily come back.
Had a nice lunch on the patio. Servers were great. Ordered fish and chips - it was expensive at $29+tax but it was a big portion, crispy, and was well seasoned. The fries were also excellent.
I'm giving this place 4.5 out of 5, the service and the ambiance were great and I really enjoyed my Sunday roast and the gravy was excellent. I was really excited to try the fish and chips and someone said they were the best in the city. I was a little disappointed in them, definitely not the best I've had in the city. The batter was good but the fish was a bit stinky, maybe just a one off I'll give it a try again and update
Stopped into this cute authentic British public house by accident. What a great place. We were seated in the dining hall near the bar by a nice young Irish fellow. Our server, a pleasant young lady took our order and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Originally just ordered a beer, but decided to stay for lunch. I had the Bacon and egg Butty. This was a bit messy to eat, but fantastic. The chips are great! And they make their own spicy ketchup. Finished up with a sticky toffee pudding. This did not disappoint, just like in the UK! With service, food and ambience like that, I will definitely return. Highly recommend.
Jasper our server was fantastic! Winterlicious2026 last one was superb! Our apps were delicious! Salad was good plentiful! The cheese toast was yummy! Haddock and chips crunchy fresh and hot! The pie could've been cooked through the bottom was soggy. Our desserts were delightful the sticky toffee pudding was scrumptious and pineapple sorbet was dreamy! Very good will go again.
