We celebrated our second wedding anniversary here on Caribana night, and it couldn’t have been a better choice to kick off my birthday month! We arrived around 12 AM when the restaurant was packed and the atmosphere was lively, but despite how busy it was, the staff took great care of us. We were pleasantly surprised by how quickly they accommodated us and how attentive the service remained throughout the night. We started with their $10 August cocktail specials, the Strawberry Daiquiri and Strawberry Tequila Sour. Both were refreshing, well-balanced, and the perfect way to start our late-night celebration. For appetizers, we had the Ribeye Appetizer, served with mushrooms. The steak was incredibly tender and full of flavour. We also tried the Shrimp Appetizer, and the sauce was absolutely delicious. It had rich Italian-inspired flavours that paired beautifully with the shrimp. For our mains, we ordered the new Pan-Seared Branzino and the Stuffed Chicken. The branzino was cooked perfectly, but what really surprised me was the mango and onion side. It reminded me of the Filipino ensalada that’s often served with seafood, and it complemented the fish so well. The Stuffed Chicken was equally impressive, filled with spinach, goat cheese, cranberry, and finished with a Calvados cream sauce. Every bite was savoury, rich, and incredibly satisfying. To finish, we shared the new Biscoff Cheesecake and the Tiramisu. The Biscoff Cheesecake was absolutely to die for! Rich, creamy, and dangerously addictive! The tiramisu was also delicious, although I think it would be even better enjoyed with a cup of coffee. Overall, we had such a wonderful experience. Great food, excellent hospitality, and a fun atmosphere made our anniversary celebration truly memorable. We’ll definitely be back!
My boyfriend and I went here for brunch for my birthday. Our server Jade made it an absolutely fabulous experience. She was kind, attentive and all around fabulous. She had a super bubbly and inviting personality. We did the 65$/person all inclusive brunch and it was lovely. The food tasted great, the portions of each item on the menu were really nice. They were big enough to share a bit and try each, while also being small enough that you could order a great variety of the different options and try them all instead of being stuck with one large full dish. The food came out quickly and the bottomless mimosas being included with a bunch of juice choices was wonderful. Jade ended up bringing out a plate that said happy birthday with some cheesecake and sparklers on it. It was such a surprise and was a great end to the best brunch we’ve ever had. It was overall a wonderful experience and next time we visit Toronto we will definitely be back and requesting Jade as our server! Do yourself a favor and request her if you go for an incredible experience just like us!
We visited Fox on John on Saturday for the Brazil vs. Morocco watch party, and it was honestly one of the most enjoyable soccer-viewing experiences we've had. From the moment we walked in, the energy was incredible. The bar was packed with passionate Brazil and Morocco supporters, and the atmosphere was absolutely buzzing throughout the match. What made the experience even better was getting to meet fellow fans wearing jerseys and celebrate the game together. Whether you were cheering for Brazil or Morocco, everyone brought great energy and made it such a fun environment. A huge thank you to Desiree for her outstanding hospitality. She was welcoming, attentive, and genuinely helped make us feel special. Her friendly personality and excellent service really stood out. And on a lighter note, she's really gorgeous too—had to say it, haha! If you're a soccer fan looking for a place with a fantastic game-day atmosphere, great service, and a crowd that truly loves the sport, Fox on John is the place to be. We'll definitely be back for many more matches and memorable nights.❤️
Had such a wonderful experience at Fox on John for a weekend brunch gathering! The food and drinks were absolutely amazing — everything was delicious and beautifully done. The service was exceptional, and our waiter was attentive, friendly, and made sure we were well taken care of throughout the experience. One of the highlights was the in-house entertainment, which was such a lovely surprise. The magician in particular was fantastic and added such a fun and memorable touch to the atmosphere. A huge thank you to the team for making our gathering so enjoyable. We’ll definitely be back and would highly recommend Fox on John for a great dining experience!
Went to brunch today at Fox on John for their bottomless brunch and it was amazing. The food was really good, and despite some previous reviews we had read, everything actually came out quickly. The price was great for what you get, and the bottomless mimosas were definitely a highlight. Huge shoutout to our servers Julia and Zoe — they were super attentive, friendly, and made the whole experience even better. Overall, such a fun brunch spot with great vibes, good service, and good value. Definitely coming back!
