big fan of artful dodger. always a great vibe, food is good and portions are generous for the price. patio is always popping when its warm out. chris is consistently wonderful and kind.
I was following my friend who lives nearby as this was her recommendation. I like the look of the bar, but I was worried about the cleanliness due to carpet everywhere. It has a nice pool table in the back, but that area was a little cramped. Service was fine and quick. My drink was right, but I felt like my server was giving me the cold shoulder and prioritized my friend, but that makes sense if she's a regular. Overall fine experience, but I think I went on an off night.
We go to AD almost every week to play pool, on weekdays, there is usually 1 bartender and 2 on weekends, they are great especially with the number of customers that can pile in all at once, Im always amazed at how they can handle so many people and remain calm and professional.
Ouff. While I can give props to the traditional vibes and good customer service, this place is long past its prime. The poutine with pulled pork was not good. Quantity over quality for sure. Every bite was flavourless and lukewarm. This place also needs renovations, especially the bathroom.
