Our recent visit to the Bacchus Lounge & Patio at the beautiful Queens Landing was a wonderful reminder that great hospitality is about people first. Due to unforeseen staff illness, the team was clearly operating short-handed and running at full speed throughout the evening. Despite the challenges, every member of the staff remained professional, sincere, humble, and genuinely committed to providing excellent service. While a few guests seemed less than understanding of the situation, the team never lost their composure, warmth, or focus on taking care of their customers. The food was excellent. The pizza and appetizers were definitely above average, and the whisky and Scotch selection was impressively diverse, offering something for both casual enthusiasts and seasoned aficionados alike. What stood out most, however, was the service. The staff worked tirelessly, handled a difficult situation with grace, and never stopped caring about the guest experience. If you’re visiting Queens Landing, come for the atmosphere, the food, and the drinks, but stay for the people. And remember, the individuals serving you are hardworking human beings who genuinely care. A little patience and understanding go a long way. After all, you’re on vacation. Slow down, relax, enjoy the moment, and appreciate the people helping to make it special.
