Really interesting venue, and absolutely stellar sound system ✨ but they refused to turn on the heat during the event! It was a snowy night in the middle of winter. We were all freezing our butts off on the dancefloor. It was maybe even colder inside the venue than outside… it was inhuman. We all wore our winter coats the whole night, not comfortable. The event was a private ticketed event and the host of the event (not affiliated with nomad) was absolutely stellar, did they best to ensure their guests were doing okay. I just wish the venue and their employees turned on the heat! Like jeez, who refuses to turn on the heat in the middle of winter? I was wondering if the venue did it on purpose to get people “feel warm” via drinking more. Nomad employees that night were not the most personable. Anyways, they get 3 stars specifically because the VOID audio soundsystem, and that it is an interesting space and location. Please take better care of your guests in the future!
Lovely little venue. The sound is awesome and not too loud, lighting systems are excellent. Washrooms are clean and had a restroom attendant present. Might get quite hot inside when crowded, but you can ask for free iced water at the bar. There was also a large blower fan near the DJ stand.
