Stopped by Spirit in Niagara Distillery during a recent trip to Niagara on the Lake and honestly, it’s one of those spots my wife and I can’t believe we’ve missed all these years. We came in to try their cocktail selection and were not disappointed at all. I had the Pearnacolda, which was a really nice twist on a piña colada swapping pineapple for pear gave it a smoother, more subtle sweetness that worked really well. My wife had the Pink & Wise, which was light, refreshing, and super easy to drink. Overall, great atmosphere, creative drinks, and definitely a place we’ll be adding to our Niagara on the Lake routine going forward.
First time here for a meal. WOW were we surprised. The food was excellent. Absolutely delicious and so well presented. The atmosphere of Blues/Jazz music in the background was so relaxing and we laughed our heads off at the old Charlie Chaplin silent movies. Staff was courteous, helpful with questions but never in your face. I would definitely recommend it to anyone even if v you have small children. The gardens around the place are exquisite. And I'll go back to try the inviting outdoor patios in summer. The one picture I added was a tree lining the front wallb with a very small bird's nest in it.
What a gem! The building is stunning inside and out. Staff are incredible and so knowledgeable. Loved the cheese plate (discovered Niagara Gold!) and the flight I had was amazing. And to hear they use local fruits for their vodka was so cool. The Mixed Mash Whiskey - divine!! Will definitely be back in the summer.
I went here with some friends last week, and had an incredible experience. The food and drinks were delicious, and the atmosphere was really lovely. Our lovely server even gave us a little tour after we were finished eating. I’d highly recommend!
Spirit of Niagara was an awesome experience and easily one of my favourite stops in Niagara-on-the-Lake. The Confessional Lounge is a cool space with a very unique design, intimate vibe, and feels very elevated. The cocktails were beautiful and really well done, and the tasting flight was fantastic. Three samples plus a mini cocktail is such a fun way to try everything without it feeling rushed. The bartender was very engaging, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience feel personal. If you’re looking for a great distillery or cocktail experience in Niagara-on-the-Lake, this place is 100% worth checking out.
