Fun place for the family. Lots to do at the waterpark and indoors like arcade, bowling, laser tag and entertainment by staff. If your child is just reaching the minimum height for water slides you will need to get them bracelets stating that they are a slight risk. Overall great experience but beware it is a bit dated. When eating at the buffet, scan the QR code to get on the waitlist and skip the line. Best restaurant is the Barnwood and the Wagyu burger with candied bacon is a must have. The best food at the buffet is the dish of the day. The staff is surprisingly friendly which made interactions really nice. Life guards are very attentive and watching for danger. The suites however are decent and creative but smell musty and washrooms have poor lighting. A/C is noisy and takes some getting used to at night. The overall experience was great however there are signs that the suites are calling for renovations soon and deep cleaning.
Our visit at Great Wolf Lodge was wonderful! The service was exceptional from everyone we encountered!! Huge parking lot. Close to the falls. Inside water park that is amazing and has something for kids of all ages. The Life guards were ON IT. So attentive and diligent. They didn't hesitate if they thought someone was in trouble and we saw them go in after someone multiple times during our visit. The wristband here is your room key (which makes incredible sense at a water park). It can also be used to take photos on the water slides and can be linked to a credit card if you choose for purchases throughout the resort. So many activities happening everyday for kids. The wand magi quest throughout the hotel is so cool! Kids can use a wand to interact with many things in the halls (lights, pictures, "gems", treasure chests etc.) We also enjoyed the laser tag and arcade. Amazing trip!!
This was our first time staying at Great Wolf Lodge after visiting the water park before, and overall we had fun—but I don't think it was worth what we paid. The water park is beautiful, but it's unbelievably hot. I understand why they keep it warm, but if you're not in the water, you're sweating the whole time. Being pregnant and having a toddler who still naps made it pretty uncomfortable. We rented a cabana both days for $420 per day, and honestly, it wasn't worth it. The food trays were tiny, we never received the souvenir cups that were advertised, and the drinks were chosen for us instead of letting us pick. The service was also inconsistent—one day we were checked out hours before our rental ended, and the next day our server barely came back. Unless you really need one, I'd save your money. Our room was clean, but much smaller than it looked online. The beds weren't very comfortable, and even though I paid extra for a pool-view patio, we overlooked the parking lot instead. Housekeeping also forgot to empty our garbage and didn't leave extra toilet paper. The breakfast buffet wasn't worth the money. It was crowded, the hot food was cold, and service was slow. Barnwood was hit-or-miss: the kids' meals were great, but the adult portions were small. The desserts were excellent. There are lots of fun activities, and I do think the Wolf Pass or Pup Pass are worth buying. The staff also made my daughter's birthday incredibly special, which I really appreciated. Overall, Great Wolf Lodge is a fun place for young kids, but almost everything costs extra, and many of the premium add-ons aren't worth the price. We spent about **$4,800** from Friday to Monday. For comparison, our two-week Disney vacation cost about **$4,900** including our hotel and park tickets, so I personally felt Disney offered much better value. Would we come back? Maybe—but next time I'd skip the cabanas, skip the breakfast buffet, and be much more selective about the extras.
This was our 3rd visit and the best yet ! We love great wolf. It's soo much fun for everyone ! Worth the experience..my kids rave about it each year! They never want to leave and neither do I.. We love the waterpark ! The pools were warm, clean especially the bathrooms! The activities are all great. The gift shop is great and love all the selections ! The workers are all friendly ..everyone from lifeguards, front desk to maintenance! It's welcoming and enjoyable ! So much to do and the rooms overall were clean expect the coffee maker ..once we called about that they sent a brand new one ! Can't complain about that service. The food is all good too, we love the buffet and buckets the most! The new Storytime cafe is adorable !! The boba was good! Can't wait for the fall to visit again !
